CLPHA and Reno & Cavanaugh, PLLC 's comments on HUD's Proposed Implementation of Various Section 8 Voucher Provisions under the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization (HOTMA) Act of
CLPHA strongly supports and endorses the attached comments submitted to HUD by the Steering Committee of the 39 MTW agencies on the proposed revised methodology for the STS requirement. As stated, many of these agencies have been successfully serving families under MTW for nearly 20 years, and we believe the new STS formula proposed by HUD would penalize MTW housing authorities who are creatively using MTW funds to accomplish critical objectives.
