On Sunday evening, March 3, 2024, House and Senate appropriators released the first set of fiscal year 2024 (FY24) appropriations bills, which includes Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD). The bipartisan set of six appropriations bills are expected to be voted on in the House as early as this Wednesday under suspension of the rules.

HUD Funding to Continue at FY23 Levels On Saturday, September 30, Congress averted a federal government shutdown by passing a Continuing Resolution that funded the government on a short-term basis until November 17. HUD will continue to operate under FY 2023 appropriation levels.
