Lucas Metropolitan Housing (LMH) leaders today joined with U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH-09) as well as business and government officials to celebrate the grand opening of LMH’s new headquarters at the site of the former United Way of Greater Toledo building on Jackson Street in Toledo, marking the first time in the authority’s 90-year history that it has consolidated all client service operations into one downtown location.

More apartments, townhomes coming to Stop Six as part of transformation plan (Fort Worth Housing Solutions)

The next step in the Stop Six neighborhood transformation plan is set to bring an additional 80 apartments and townhomes to the historic southeast Fort Worth area. 

Babers Manor, located on a vacant lot at the corner of Ramey and South Hughes avenues, will bring in two-story and three-story apartment buildings and townhomes. The project is estimated at $30.5 million, and groundbreaking is expected in early 2024.

Sprinkler funding now secured for all public housing high-rises in Minneapolis

It's been a little more than three years since the fatal fire at Hiawatha Towers in Minneapolis' Cedar Riverside neighborhood. 

Five people died in that public housing building the day before Thanksgiving, 2019, and state authorities later determined that their lives could have been saved had sprinklers been installed.
