On January 21, 2026, the full House Financial Services Committee held a hearing entitled, “Oversight of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Federal Housing Administration (FHA).” HUD Secretary Scott Turner served as the hearing’s only witness, and Members of Congress took the opportunity to raise concerns related to HUD programs and to thank him for his leadership of the Department.
