HUD Awards Several CLPHA Members Mobility Services Funding

HUD has announced $1.5 million in Housing Mobility-Related Services Planning awards to 25 PHAs across 14 states, with seven of CLPHA’s members earning funding. These funds enable PHAs to implement programs in their communities that help families using Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV) find housing in better-resourced opportunity neighborhoods.

More than 120 seniors with low income, including several with medical frailties, who otherwise may struggle financially in San Diego’s high-cost housing market now have homes with affordable rent at Levant Senior Cottages, a development in collaboration with the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) that celebrated its grand opening today.
