From The Journal Gazette:
The Fort Wayne Housing Authority will break ground Tuesday on a $13.9 million apartment complex on Spy Run Avenue Extended.
Dubbed River's Edge Apartments, the complex will be home to 56 one- and two-bedroom units of permanent supportive housing for homeless and at-risk individuals and families with disabilities.
All of the units will be subsidized by Housing Authority vouchers. Supportive services will be coordinated by Park Center.
“We are pleased to break ground on this unique housing opportunity for the Fort Wayne community,” FWHA Executive Director George Guy said in a statement. “There is a real need for supportive housing in our nation and River's Edge will provide a solution for families in our community who are in need of critical wraparound services that will help us reduce cases of homelessness within our city.”
