SDHC's Housing First San Diego awards funding for San Ysidro Senior Village

The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) awarded $760,000 in funding via its Housing First San Diego initiative to National Community Renaissance developers for the construction of San Ysidro Senior Village, a future supportive housing community for seniors experiencing homelessness, including senior veterans. Under Housing First San Diego, SDHC plans to fund $80 million in housing between 2018 and 2020.
