LA84 Foundation & Play Equity Fund partners with Rams head coach Sean McVay for new playground in Ramona Gardens (HACLA)

Los Angeles Rams Head Coach Sean McVay, the LA84 Foundation, the Play Equity Fund and the Steinmetz Foundation provided funding for the construction of new playground equipment at the Ramona Gardens Housing Development in Boyle Heights. The playground has been completely refurbished and will be unveiled during a celebratory ribbon-cutting at 4pm on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Development of 100 Apartments for Seniors with Low Income Breaks Ground in San Ysidro (San Diego Housing Commission)

HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge Visits Fort Worth Affordable Housing Development

This new development in Fort Worth's Stop Six neighborhood sits where Cavile public housing once stood. 

"Just to see how far this project has come and get a sneak peek of what is to come is great because it's nothing like it was before," former Cavile resident Brasalin Mosely said.

Mosley was one of many people relocated for the project. But they all have the option to return.

Chicago HA distributes 5,000 coats to families, children at 15th annual Operation Warm

King County HA reaches 90 percent lease-up of Emergency Housing Vouchers funded through American Rescue Plan Act of 2021

The King County Housing Authority, in partnership with a number of organizations across the county working to help people experiencing homelessness, has achieved a lease-up rate of 90 percent for the 762 Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHVs) it was awarded through the Biden administration’s American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. This compares with a national lease-up rate of 50.98 percent.* Of the top 20 grantees ranked by award size, KCHA is the first housing authority to reach this utilization milestone.

Opportunity Home San Antonio Self-Develops Most Affordable New Multi-Family Apartment Complex
