The Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura (HACSB) will partner with local PHAs the Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura and the Oxnard Housing Authority to distribute $400,000 in HUD Mainstream Voucher funds that will help house 45 families in Ventura County.

The Norfolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority (NRHA) is one of four finalists for a HUD Choice Neighborhoods Initiative Grant. If selected, NRHA and the City of Norfolk will use the $30M grant to transform Norfolk’s St.

Fresno Housing Authority CEO Preston Prince recently met with California State Treasurer Fiona Ma to discuss the housing crisis in the state’s Central Valley and ways to increase the amount of affordable housing in Fresno.

Three District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA) communities now have Little Free Libraries, small wooden boxes containing books for neighbors to borrow as well as space to donate books to their community. Amerigroup built the DCHA Little Free Libraries and filled them with books, and nonprofit A Wider Circle will maintain them.
