From the Sacramento Housing & Redevelopment Agency's newsletter:

SHRA has submitted a $1.8 million funding proposal to the California Natural Resources Agency for a Green Infrastructure Grant to support construction of a 1.1 acre park at Mirasol Village, formerly the Twin Rivers housing development at 12th Street and Richards Boulevard in Sacramento. The Green Infrastructure Grant Program was created in 2018 under Proposition 68 which allowed the Legislature to set aside $18.5 million to the State for competitive grants for investments in multi-benefit green infrastructure to improve disadvantaged communities. The proposed park will serve Mirasol Village which qualifies as a severely disadvantaged community in the River District neighborhood. The project is designed to achieve measurable, multiple benefits that create sustainable and vibrant communities and maximize opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
