On March 5, CLPHA, the District of Columbia Housing Authority, and the Congressional Public Housing Caucus will offer members of Congress and their staff a personal look at public and affordable housing in the nation’s capital during a bus tour of several DCHA communities.
The tour will be a chance for policymakers in Congress to observe firsthand public housing communities in Washington, D.C. and gain insight into efforts to address housing insecurity in our nation’s capital, while recognizing that public housing in D.C. is a microcosm of the opportunities and challenges facing residents and affordable housing providers across the country.
