Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) CEO Gregory Johnson penned an op-ed in the Cincinnati Enquirer outlining CMHA's bold steps to preserve its existing affordable housing stock by using new tools, fostering public and private partnerships, and employing programs like Section 3. Johnson affirmed, “We believe these bold actions will help us create job and training opportunities for our able-body residents, which in turn will help stabilize community neighborhoods. We further believe that with the help of our partners, this work will be a catalyst for further economic development in these target areas of our community that have not seen any investment in years. We feel this bold move will provide the best living environment for all citizens of Hamilton County.”
