Government Shutdown Averted; Government Funded Until November 17
HUD Funding to Continue at FY23 Levels
On Saturday, September 30, Congress averted a federal government shutdown by passing a Continuing Resolution that funded the government on a short-term basis until November 17. HUD will continue to operate under FY 2023 appropriation levels.
HUD Shares Funding Contingency Plan Ahead of Potential Government Shutdown
Should Congress fail to pass a Continuing Resolution to continue government funding, the Federal Government will shut down on midnight, Saturday, September 30, 2023.
