Washington State’s Department of Commerce awarded $3 million to the Vancouver Housing Authority for its Tenny Creek Assisted Living project, a future 40-unit community for individuals experiencing chronic mental illness.

The Tacoma Housing Authority (THA) won a $50,000 Evergreen Options Renewable Energy Project grant from Tacoma Power, which THA will use to build solar panels at the Crisis Residential Center (CRC) at its future Arlington Drive Youth Campus. The CRC will be a 12-bed facility for housing and providing services to homeless youth.
