Are you ready to lead and inspire? Vancouver Housing Authority (VHA) is seeking an exceptional Voucher Programs Supervisor with low-income housing management experience to join our dedicated team! At the VHA we work closely with local governments and other community partners throughout Clark County to address issues of affordable housing and homelessness and help families break the cycle of poverty. We provide affordable housing and housing assistance to low-income residents in Clark County. Our Voucher Department administers tenant based, project based, VASH, FUP, Mainstream, Disposition, and RAD vouchers. The Voucher Programs Supervisor is responsible for ensuring voucher programs are being administered in an effective and efficient manner within established guidelines.

Your skills and experience will support our mission as you:

  • Assign tasks, foster excellence, and ensure high performance standards within the team.
  • Plan workflow and processes within the department by developing or coordinating the development of necessary forms, reports, and other documents.
  • Identify, develop, and administer ongoing training, process, and performance improvement for the department. Work with the Voucher Programs Manager to develop improvement actions.
  • Under direction of Voucher Program Manager, may manage internal audit services and supervise required file corrections.
  • Supervise PIC error corrections and may prepare PIC submissions as directed.
  • Aid staff in resolving conflicts with tenants and landlords.
  • May be asked to lead staff meetings. May represent Section 8 in other VHA and community meetings.
  • With the assistance of the Program Manager, research and interpret policy/regulations and advises staff.
  • Pay and Benefits

The starting salary range of $68,024 - $74,831 per year based on experience. The full salary range for this position is $68,024 - $104,756 per year.

Full-time, exempt position.

Requirements

  • BA in business, social service, or related field and 4 years’ experience in low-income housing management including at least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role; or equivalent.
  • Experience developing, administering, and evaluating programs related to Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers preferred.
