The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA) is seeking a collaborative and innovative professional Housing Programs Manager to provide exceptional leadership in a team-orientated environment. The Housing Programs Manager will oversee the Housing Choice Voucher Program, manage 15 staff, provide staff support to the Housing Commission, recommend and implement policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
External candidates may have a Bachelor’s Degree, but two years of the required experience can substitute for the Bachelor’s Degree; an Associate’s Degree may be substituted for one year of the required experience. External candidates should also have four years of full-time professional experience in management of a housing, social services, or similar public program or related field; at least two of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. A Master’s Degree in Public or Business Administration and work experience related to public housing programs is highly desirable.
