We are seeking an energetic professional for the position of Assistant Director, Asset Management.
The Assistant Director is a senior-level role focused on overseeing asset management and capital fund programs for housing development, maintenance, rehabilitation, and modification. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, staffing, and regulatory compliance; supervising family and senior housing developments; conducting audits; maintaining resident relations; ensuring compliance with federal housing regulations; and implementing management systems.
Core Responsibilities:
• Oversee budgets, vacancies, staffing, regulatory requirements, and resident satisfaction.
• Manage multi-site family and senior housing properties, including maintenance, modifications, and audits.
• Engage with federal and community groups regarding low-income housing programs.
• Supervise property management staff, ensure training, and enforce policies.
• Collaborate with IT on data accuracy and reporting.
• Submit agency reports and data updates as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (e.g., Business, Property Management).
• 8+ years of management experience, with 5+ years in public housing.
• Supervisory experience, especially in unionized environments.
