From the San Diego Housing Commission's press release:
Seniors age 62 and older who have low income will have 175 new affordable housing opportunities in Rancho Bernardo upon the completion of a new development in collaboration with the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC), which celebrated its ceremonial groundbreaking today.
From the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority's press release:
The Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) announced today it will move forward with plans to modernize the administration of its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, which has remained largely unchanged since its debut in 1974 and is now the agency’s largest program, serving approximately 40,000 Franklin County residents.
The Housing Authority of Washington County, a new CLPHA member and a Department of Washington County, Oregon, recently joined HUD’s House America through proclamation of the County Board of Commissioners. HAWC, which also recently joined the Moving to Work (MTW) program, is aggressively working to reduce homelessness in its jurisdiction. A recent voter-approved Supportive Housing Services (SHS) measure is bringing $200 million a year to the region to reduce homelessness. The measure is in place for ten years.
