Ex Fabula, a Milwaukee nonprofit that strengthens community bonds through the art of storytelling, is pleased to present Equal Access, a project that celebrates the stories of individuals who happen to have disabilities.
The project includes a series of FREE workshops where storytelling coaches will guide attendees through hands on, small group activities that help them identify, structure and share a story. Attendees will also get to listen to others' stories and learn about upcoming storytelling opportunities.
Open to adults with disabilities as well as family members/caretakers of individuals with disabilities. Sign language interpreters will be present.
For pre-registration and disability- related accommodations requests, please contact Brian Peters, Community Access and Policy Specialist, at 414-291-7520 or bpeters@independencefirst.org
This project is supported in part by a grant from the Milwaukee Arts Board and Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
