The Housing First model is widely embraced as the most successful approach to services in supportive housing, particularly among people who have been homeless for long periods of time and have psychiatric disabilities and substance use disorders. This live instructor-led training will provide an
overview of Housing First principles and strategies for supportive housing case managers working in the model. This webinar will also focus on the Housing First principle of using a harm reduction approach and provide practical examples of harm reduction’s ability to keep tenants housed.
