Sacramento, SHRA Receive $23M Grant to Further Twin Rivers Redevelopment Project

The City of Sacramento and the Sacramento Housing & Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) received a big boost in the planned $310 million revitalization of its Twin Rivers housing project into a modern, mixed-income community. The California Strategic Growth Council awarded a $23 million grant to the project, most of which will go towards a state-of-the-art light rail station adjacent to the community. SHRA hopes to break ground on Twin Rivers in 2019.
