The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA), one of the largest housing authorities in the nation, is seeking a dynamic Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program Manager to lead operations for our vital voucher program serving over 11,700 households. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HCV operations, including eligibility, certifications, and case management.
- Supervise and coach staff while driving high performance and alignment with CMHA’s core values.
- Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and CMHA policies.
- Resolve tenant and landlord concerns with professionalism and respect.
- Analyze performance data to inform strategic decisions and enhance service delivery.
- Lead process improvements and support audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public/business administration, urban studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory or management experience leading large teams.
- Strong knowledge of HUD/HCV regulations, landlord-tenant law, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HCV certification required within one year of hire.
