New community health clinic coming to East Austin affordable housing complex (Housing Authority of the City of Austin)

A new health care option coming to an area of Austin that's been lacking those kinds of services for decades. A new community health center will be opening later this year at the Chalmers Courts in East Austin.
Chalmers Courts had its beginnings in 1939. It was one of the first public housing projects in the entire country.
