Awards/Grants, Members Making News
HUD awarded the Housing Authority of the City of Baltimore (HABC) a Choice Neighborhoods Implementation (CNI) Grant ($30,000) and a Choice Neighborhoods Planning Grant ($1.3 million). These awards follow the $30 million CNI grant that HABC received in July.

Of the complex’s 68 units, 34 are funded by Section 8 project-based vouchers, and 15 of those apartments are set aside for individuals with disabilities. The construction of Key’s Pointe Residences is part of HABC’s massive revitalization plan for Baltimore’s O’Donnell Heights neighborhood.

National playground-building nonprofit Kaboom! and the Baltimore Ravens teamed up with the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) to build a playground at HABC's Douglass Homes. 200 volunteers, including several Ravens players, helped with the project.
