HUD Extends AFFH Comment Deadline to April 24 Following CLPHA, Industry Group Advocacy
HUD has extended the comment period for the proposed Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) rule by two weeks. Comments will now be due on Monday, April 24.

CLPHA, Industry Groups Request Extension of AFFH Comment Period
CLPHA along with its industry partners NAHRO, PHADA, and the MTW Collaborative have sent a letter to HUD requesting an extension of the comment window for the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) proposed rule. The lengthy 75-page notice touches on matters core to the missions and operations of local housing authorities.
