The West Palm Beach Housing Authority (WPBHA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to join its leadership team.
This senior-level administrative position works in close collaboration with the Executive Director to oversee day-to-day operations, enhance organizational efficiency, and help advance the strategic goals of the Authority. The Director of Operations plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and effective management of housing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate operational functions across departments
- Assist in implementing policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborate with leadership to strengthen program outcomes and resident services
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of housing authority operations
- Strong familiarity with HUD programs and regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A Masters or Bachelor’s Degree with major course work in public or business administration, urban affairs, or a related field. A minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience with HUD programs four of which should be in management.
