Earlier this month, U.S. Representative Tom Cole (R-OK) visited the Oklahoma City Housing Authority (OCHA). Rep. Cole, who serves as Vice Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and as Chairman of its Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Related Agencies (THUD), met with OCHA Executive Director Mark Gillett and toured one of OCHA’s senior developments. OCHA told CLPHA that it was an engaging and productive meeting and shared several photos (see below).
CLPHA looks forward to working with Rep. Cole in his new leadership role to secure the resources that housing authorities like OCHA need to improve the lives of low-income families.
