SHRA Executive Director La Shelle Dozier was recently recognized during the California Women Making Herstory Senate floor ceremony. La Shelle is also Senate District 8’s Woman of the Year, nominated by Senator Angelique Ashby.
March has been designated as Women's History Month and each year the California State Legislature encourages Legislators to highlight and honor deserving women for service to their community.
