In November 2020, the Council of Large Public Housing Authorities (CLPHA) was awarded a grant from the Center for Disaster Philanthropy to help our public housing authority (PHA) members better protect and serve vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
CLPHA conducted a competitive application process to provide ten of our member PHAs with $10,000 subgrants, funded by CDP, to support COVID-19 relief efforts for their residents. We received an overwhelming response for the funds and, after careful review, selected 10 PHAs whose projects focus on a range of COVID-19 responses..
Watch our video below to see how these ten PHAs used their grant funds to respond to their residents’ pandemic-related needs and challenges. CLPHA thanks CDP for supporting our members' innovative, thoughtful efforts to serve their communities' most vulnerable populations in this difficult time.
