CLPHA Publishes Latest Report on PHAs’ COVID-Related Initiatives and Needs

Date Published:

In order to identify and address COVID-19 needs and ongoing priorities for our PHA members, CLPHA conducted a survey in January 2021 as part of our grant from the Center for Disaster Philanthropy. In November 2021, CLPHA conducted a follow-up survey to examine the successes PHAs have made during the pandemic since our earlier survey. In our January survey, the largest concerns facing PHAs were digital connectivity, staffing issues, supporting residents, and insufficient funding. We have found with the November survey, many of those challenges remain. However, despite these challenges, PHAs are continuing to work with community partners such as health departments and schools to most effectively and efficiently use the resources available to them.
