Millions of professionals and volunteers work with young people every day in the many settings where youth play, learn, and grow outside of the school day. On athletic fields, in afterschool programs, in libraries, in faith-based institutions, youth-serving professionals and volunteers are making a difference every day. Through the Power of Us Workforce Survey, youth-serving professionals and volunteers can contribute to a national effort to explore, define, and elevate youth fields workforce and their essential work with youth.
In 2022, youth-serving professionals and volunteers are invited to take the Power of Us Workforce Survey—a first of its kind study that seeks to know and understand more about the experiences of and pathways into the youth fields workforce. The data from the survey can help to inform policy, practice, and further research to better support the workforce. The survey is conducted by the American Institutes for Research and funded by the Wallace Foundation, and CLPHA Director of Cross-Sector Initiatives Abra Lyons-Warren serves as a member of AIR’s Youth Fields Study Expert Advisory Group.
If we know more, we can do more to support the youth fields workforce to thrive. Take the survey today! www.powerofussurvey.org
