Congratulations to the seven CLPHA member housing authorities from across the country that were recently awarded HUD Choice Neighborhoods Initiative Planning Grants! Funded through HUD's Choice Neighborhoods program, these grants will help local leaders craft comprehensive, homegrown plans to redevelop and revitalize severely distressed HUD assisted housing communities and their surrounding neighborhoods. CLPHA members received a combined $3.11 million to further these transformation efforts. You can read summaries of all grant recipients’ project plans here.
