Sacramento Housing & Redevelopment Agency Celebrates 10,000 Families Helped with Emergency Rental Assistance

Last month, the Sacramento Housing & Redevelopment Agency celebrated a major milestone -- SHRA has helped 10,000 families to remain in their homes with their Sacramento Emergency Rental Assistance (SERA) program!

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, SHRA, in partnership with the City and the County of Sacramento, through state and federal funding (including the Emergency Rental Assistance program), is offering emergency rent and utilities assistance for renters living anywhere in Sacramento County who have experienced a reduction in household income or other financial hardship due to the pandemic.

SHRA is not done with this vital work to keep families housed -- the program is still accepting applications!

See the milestone announcement in SHRA's newsletter.
