During this challenging and divided time in our country’s history, it is more important than ever for those who serve America’s most vulnerable populations to continue working towards achieving Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream of an equal, just, and compassionate society. As our nation continues to simultaneously battle a devastating pandemic and our legacy of racial injustice, public housing authorities have worked tirelessly to house low-income families, keep them safe and healthy, and connect them to better life opportunitiesThis MLK Day weekend, CLPHA and our members reflect on the work we’ve done to advance Dr. King’s vision for America, and the work we still need to do.
