HUD to Hold Webinar Program
From HUD's Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes:
Throughout June, we invite you to join HUD’s Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (HUD/OLHCHH) for an exciting and educational webinar program. This year, we take a broader look at the healthy homes environment.
National Healthy Homes Month (NHHM) is an annual national outreach campaign, coordinated by OLHCHH. We aim to create awareness of, and encourage preventative actions around, indoor environmental health hazards.
This year, OLHCHH salutes our many and diverse partners with our theme of “The Power of Partnerships.” Partnerships are integral to engaging the community, and to long-term success and sustainabilityy.
The target audiences for these webinars are the organizations, programs and individuals concerned about the need for healthy housing. Healthy homes programs can potentially encompass single or multiple health issues, and differing strategies and models. In 2021 and beyond, new approaches (including policies) to improve the health and safety of the home environment may emerge. Additionally, new and innovative types of partnerships may come into focus, while longstanding relationships evolve.
OLHCHH has worked closely with our presenters to develop this dynamic program. Our presenters are highly regarded and experienced in their specialized areas. Together, we hope this content will help you and ultimately, housing residents everywhere. To register for the sessions, please visit our National Healthy Homes Month website at www.hud.gov/program_offices/healthy_homes/nhhm.
