Leaders in the health and housing industries recognize that successful collaboration between their sectors can improve the health and wellbeing of low-income individuals. Building on an earlier survey of the field of programs offered, a new study by CLPHA and the Public and Affordable Housing Research Corporation (PAHRC) maps the evolution of resident health initiatives and health-sector partnerships at housing agencies.
On Thursday, October 29, at 2 p.m. ET, join CLPHA and PAHRC for our webinar How Housing-Health Partnerships Evolve to Help Residents Achieve Successful Outcomes, where CLPHA Health Research & Policy Manager Steve Lucas and researchers from PAHRC share the results from our new study. You’ll learn critical aspects of successful PHA-health partnerships as we examine resident health initiatives within 17 PHAs across the country, with a focus on changes in organizational goals and structures.
This webinar features a Q&A session with the study’s authors, followed by a discussion with practitioners at Bath Housing in Maine and the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority, a CLPHA member. They will share challenges and successes faced when building resident health-focused programs and partnerships within their organization.
