PIH to Hold COVID-19 Conference Call for PHAs on Friday, March 20

HUD’s Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH) will host a conference call at 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday, March 20, to answer PHAs’ questions about how to best serve residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

PIH Assistant Secretary Hunter Kurtz will lead the call. Deputy Assistant Secretaries of PIH and representatives from CLPHA, the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), and the Public Housing Authorities Directors Association (PHADA) will also participate on the call. 

HUD will be taking questions live during the call and encourages PHAs to submit questions prior to the call by emailing PIH-COVID@hud.gov with the subject line "PHA call w/PIH: COVID Questions.” This conversation will inform the next iteration of HUD’s FAQs for PHAs – you can read HUD’s current FAQs here

Please note that the conference call limit is 5,000 participants. This call will be recorded and shared with all PHAs in the event some are not able to join the call.
