Please save the date for an upcoming webinar co-sponsored between HUD and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) which will focus on how Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) grantees can help the youth we serve successfully connect to financial education resources from FDIC, including its Money Smart Financial Education program. The webinar will also highlight the Denver Housing Authority’s youth financial education activities.

Description: Learn about the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s financial education curriculum and other resources that support youth, including those who are joining the workforce. The presentation will cover the FDIC’s Money Smart Financial Education program, implementation resources, and the importance of opening an account at an insured financial institution. You’ll also hear from the Denver Housing Authority regarding their success incorporating financial education into their youth programming.
