Coronavirus Relief Negotiations Remain Fluid

Discussions about the latest Coronavirus relief package between House Leadership and the White House are at an impasse. The House passed a scaled-back version of the HEROES Act costing $2.2 trillion.  The White House has offered a $1.5 trillion package. Both sides remain far apart. There have been discussions about a piecemeal approach or taking the legislation up after the election in the lame duck session of Congress. Either way, the need for another relief package is growing by the day, which could force both sides back to the negotiating table. Stay tuned.
