Discussions about the latest Coronavirus relief package between House Leadership and the White House are at an impasse. The House passed a scaled-back version of the HEROES Act costing $2.2 trillion. The White House has offered a $1.5 trillion package. Both sides remain far apart. There have been discussions about a piecemeal approach or taking the legislation up after the election in the lame duck session of Congress.
