CLPHA is traveling across the country this month to discuss communications strategies and promote ourHousing Is work in concert with national cross-sector partners and CLPHA member agencies.
Tuesday, April 16: CLPHA’s Communications Director Jenny Werwa spoke at the National Housing Conference’s recent Solutions for Housing Communications convening held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Jenny was one of three panelists who discussed the role of communications in Mobilizing for Change.
Thursday, April 25:
CLPHA will join our partners at UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Community & State for a UHC's Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Advisory Board in Seattle. Representatives of the King County and Seattle Housing Authorities will present about their respective and joint health and housing partnerships with UHC through theAligning Health & Housing Systems (AHHS) Project co-facilitated by CLPHA, UHC, and the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH).
Monday, April 29:
CLPHA will present at aregional NAHRO conference in Portland, OR, featuring thought leaders and practitioners addressing housing as a key social determinant of health.
Thursday, May 2:
CLPHA will lead a session at the annual CSH Summit in Indianapolis with our colleagues at CSH and UHC about our joint leadership of the AHHS Project, which has brought together large PHAs and Medicaid managed care organizations in five communities across three states.
