Grandparents raise grandchildren in unique Cleveland public housing

A Cleveland news channel recently featured a story about the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority’s (CMHA) Griot Village, an affordable housing complex intended for grandparents raising grandchildren. Built in 2014, CMHA’s Griot Village is the only intergenerational public housing community of its kind in the state of Ohio, and only one of seven grandparent/grandchild complexes in the country.
