As part of a Housing Is collaboration with the Kresge Foundation to explore ways to improve postsecondary access and success for low-income individuals, CLPHA and Kresge partnered to convene five innovative PHAs, their postsecondary partners, and federal staff for a meeting yesterday in Washington, D.C.

Attendees shared learnings from their partnerships between public housing, higher education institutions, and non-profit providers; considered the role philanthropy can play to facilitate and support partnerships; and discussed how policy and capital can be influenced to improve outcomes.

A post-convening report will be distributed in early 2019.
