Position Summary: As a Moving to Work (MTW) Expansion Agency under the Landlord Incentives Cohort #3, this position reports to the Chief Housing Officer (CHO). The Special Assistant to CHO performs various compliance, financial, administrative, procurement, and paralegal duties supporting the Chief Housing Officer. The position provides administrative support, customer service, accounting, purchasing, and leasing duties for the asset management and voucher programs divisions of the Office of the CHO. The position is also responsible for investigating and compiling facts and preparing and managing documents to prepare and present cases of an affordable housing property. The work maintains appointment schedules, composes correspondence based on subject matter and regulations, and disseminates information.
Required Education/ Experience:
- Associate’s Degree or two (2) years of completed college coursework from an accredited college or university in a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in transactional areas of the law; paralegal support in litigation preparation and preparation of contracts.
- Two (2) years of experience in an administrative assistant office management role.
- Must have documented computer skills in personal computer operation and excellent typing, telephone, and customer service skills.
