PHCD Compliance Manager
The Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development Department (PHCD) is the sixth largest housing agency in the nation. PHCD is responsible for housing more than 30,000 residents inclusive of public housing, providing Section 8 subsidized payments for 14,000 families and administering an array of specialized housing opportunities for special populations including the homeless. The PHCD Compliance Manager reports to the Director of Public Housing and Community Development and is responsible for oversight, implementation, and administration of all agency compliance, fair housing and equal opportunity programs. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, four years of experience to include supervisory experience in regulations associated with Public Housing, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME programs, and Florida Housing Finance Corporation programs are required. Additional related experience in regulations associated with Public Housing, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME programs, and Florida Housing Finance Corporation programs may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis. Master’s or Law Degree and experience in drafting and interpretation of public housing management and tenant policies within the context of applicable HUD requirements are preferred.
