The District of Columbia’s Housing Authority is seeking candidates for the position of Financial Analyst. This position is located in our Office of Financial Management and reports to the Operations Finance Manager. The position requires extensive experience in interpretation, implementation and knowledge of Federal reporting requirements, programs and operations. The successful candidate must be experienced in the performance of a wide variety of administrative and analytical duties connected with planning, developing, implementing and revising of budgets along with budget and finance reporting for public housing operations and activities.
Education and Experience Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in finance or Accounting and a minimum of (4) four years’ experience in financial analysis in public housing, construction management or housing development is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted to meet the minimum qualifications.
