The Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa is seeking a dynamic leader to become the next Director of Asset Management. The ideal candidate will possess solid analytical skills, and will understand asset management, property management, and tax credits. This position will be responsible for overseeing 12 public housing properties and 2 tax credit properties, managing a large number of special projects simultaneously, solving financial, maintenance and residence problems effectively, and developing and monitoring budgets. Strong candidates will be well-versed and experienced in successfully building and maintaining positive working relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the Housing Authority, and will be thoughtful, inclusive, and resourceful in their ability to solve problems.

The Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa provides rental subsidies and manages and develops affordable housing for approximately 10,000 low-income families, seniors, and persons with disabilities in Contra Costa County. The Housing Authority is a public corporation separate and distinct from HUD, from county government, and from other county and state agencies much like a special district. The governing Board of Commissioners consists of seven members – the five members of the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors, and two “Resident” members who participate in the programs operated by the HACCC.
