We are seeking an energetic professional for the position of Assistant Director, Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program.
The Assistant Director is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations and long term performance of the departments responsible for annual re-certifications and special programs (Moderate Rehabilitation, VASH, Non Elderly Disabled Voucher, Project Based-Vouchers (PBV), et al). The position will have overall responsibility for performance and compliance with federal regulations, as well as, ensuring that policies and procedures are consistently applied by staff. The position reports directly to the Director of the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in areas such as public administration, community planning, urban studies, business administration, or related field; at least eight (8) or more years of management experience in public housing, Housing Choice Voucher Program, tax credit housing, assisted apartment management, or local government housing work (e.g. code enforcement, planning, and community development).
