Cincinnati Metrpolitan Housing Authority is seeking to gather companies that can perform the activities listed below.
CMHA is required to ensure housing search assistance is made available to EHV families during their initial housing search. Housing search assistance may include many activities such as, but not limited, to helping a family identify and visit potentially available units during their housing search, helping to find a unit that meets the household’s disability-related or other family needs, providing transportation and directions to units, assisting with the completion of rental
applications and CMHA forms, and helping to expedite the leasing process for the family.
Owner recruitment and outreach within CMHA jurisdiction of Hamilton County, Ohio. In addition to traditional owner recruitment and outreach, activities may include providing enhanced customer service, work with CMHA staff with designing an incentive program for new owners and retention of current owners, conducting outreach meetings and educational sessions for new owners, etc. The goal is to expedite utilization of vouchers in the HCV program, expand housing choices for low-income families by increasing landlord participation with the program. Recruitment efforts must include public outreach meetings during the
evenings and/or weekends to educate property owners on the benefits of participating with the HCV program.
