The Project Manager will handle all aspects of the project to ensure successful implementation, both timely and on budget. Creates and executes project work plans (and revises as appropriate) to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities to team members. Appropriately evaluates financial models to determine the financial feasibility of projects. The candidate will require critical thinking and managerial skills to perform financial analysis and proficiently evaluates and analyzes plans to minimize exposure and risk on projects, while maximizing project profitability through effective management. The Project Manager will ensure projects follow program guidelines, respective schedules, and scope, and manages the project throughout the entire process (from conception through placed-in-service). The Project Manager will be the point of contact between DHA and various partners on the projects, which may include but is not limited to City, County, Developers, impacted residents, community stakeholders, consultants, inspectors, financial lenders, and investors.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, political science, real estate development, project/program construction management, or related field with at least five years of progressive experience with project/program management. A combination of education and experience comprising
of the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job may be considered. Must possess a valid NC State issued driver’s license and be insurable under the Authority’s plan.
