Full Job Description: 

The Electrician will perform general electrical work maintaining existing electrical system infrastructure to ensure a safe electrical environment is provided for all employees, contractors, etc. The Electrician also maintains DHA properties, facilities, and production equipment to operate in the safest and most productive condition and supporting continuous improvement; takes the lead over, and gives assignments to, those assigned as helpers; does other related duties as required.

Requires: H.S. Diploma or GED, electrical certificate, and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in electrical work in a residential setting, installation, and the repair of thermostats & radiators, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems or a State issued Journeyman license and two (2) years of experience as listed above.

Must possess a valid NC issued driver’s license and be insurable under the DHA’s policy. Must be able to work various hours/shifts, weekends and holidays as required, and respond to emergency situations.
